TCS B.Sc Ignite & Smart Hiring is exclusively for candidates from the stream of BCA, B.Sc, B.Voc in CS/IT from the Batch of 2024.

Students for both TCS B.Sc Ignite & Smart Hiring will undergo a single integrated test.
Test Eligibility for TCS B.Sc Ignite & Smart Hiring – Batch of 2024:
- Eligible Courses: Full-time graduates from BCA, B.Sc (IT, Computer Science, Maths, Data Science, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Cyber Security, Biochemistry), B.Voc (CS/IT).
- Graduation Year: Batch of 2024.
- Percentage: Minimum 50% aggregate (all subjects) in Class 10th, Class 12th, Diploma (if applicable), and Graduation.
- Backlogs: No backlogs at the time of selection. The course must be completed within the stipulated time.
- Gap in Education: Declare any educational gaps in the TCS Application Form. The total gap should not exceed 24 months, with supporting documents.
- Course Completion: All courses must be completed within the standard duration.
- Full-Time Courses: Only full-time courses are eligible. NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) students are eligible if other courses are full-time.
- Age: Minimum age – 18 years, Maximum age – 28 years.
- Work Experience: This is an entry-level role, but prior work experience must be declared in the application form, with supporting documents.
Important: TCS has strict eligibility criteria. Your eligibility will be verified at multiple stages of the selection process. Any discrepancies in your data may result in disqualification.
B.Sc hiring has two categories:
- Ignite
- Smart
Based on the test performance, the candidates will be shortlisted for TCS B.Sc Ignite or Smart hiring interviews. The final offer category of the test shortlisted candidates will be subject to performance in the interview process.
Additionally, candidates offered under Ignite will have the opportunity to participate in programs which can enhance their identity, career growth and compensation to the extent of 2.5x within 1-2 years of joining.
Application Process for TCS B.Sc Ignite & Smart Hiring – Batch of 2024:

Step 1: Logon to the TCS NextStepPortal – https://nextstep.tcs.com/campus/#
Step 2: Verify your details using Aadhaar.
Make sure to provide accurate information, as incorrect details can result in disqualification.
Step 3: Register and apply for the TCS B.Sc Ignite & Smart Hiring for the Batch of 2024.
- Scenario A: If you’re already registered, log in, complete the application form, and click ‘Apply for Drive.’
- Scenario B: If you’re a new user, click ‘Register Now,’ select ‘IT’ as your category, fill in your details, and submit the form. Then, click ‘Apply for Drive.’
Important: Ensure your application form includes accurate academic, internship, and work experience details.
Step 4: Choose your test mode (In-Centre), select your preferred test centre, and apply. Note that the test centre cannot be changed once selected.
Step 5: Check your status under ‘Track Your Application’ to confirm that it says ‘Applied for Drive.’

TCS Smart Hiring Program:
The TCS B.Sc Smart Hiring program focuses on nurturing talent and providing comprehensive training to prepare candidates for success in their roles.

Important Note:
- The test will be conducted In-centre.
- Seats at test centres will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s important to register and apply as early as possible to secure your preferred centre. Once seats are full, you won’t be able to select that city.

- Test-related communication will be sent by TCS iON, TCS’s official test provider.

Test Pattern –
TCS iON is the test provider for TCS B.Sc Ignite & Smart Hiring process. Candidates must appear in-person to give the test.
The duration of assessment is 120 mins and is divided into 4 sections:
- Numerical Ability
- Verbal Ability
- Reasoning Ability
- Coding (Optional)
